These curtains are just for show, I have made them in three panels, using the colours from the bedroom, the two outer panels, match the accessories from the room and then bringing in the second colour into the middle panel from the wallpaper..
A piece of ribbon is tied loosely around all three panels, to give the effect of tie backs and keep them in place.
The runner on the window sill is made from the same as the outer panels.
The roller blind is used for the window covering.
With a newly decorated living room, Pop’s chair looked old and tatty and in need of some TLC. Not wanting to get rid of the chair I thought a revamp was in order.
The seat and back cushions have been covered in the same bright bold material used to make covers for the “Scatter Cushions” on the sofa.
Now with the covers made, it’s time to make a complete cover for the base. I will make the cover using a strong heavy black material , covering the base to the floor, placing the seat and back cushions on the top…
